Professor Leon R. Probasco brings 30 years of behavioral health expertise with psychiatric and substance abuse care in a variety of venues including hospitals, treatment centers, outpatient clinics, employee assistance programs and his private practice.
Professor Leon teaches diagnostic trends, advanced practice and military social work at Park University. At his two private practice locations (Liberty, MO and Overland Park, KS) he specializes in treatment of depression, anxiety, mood disorders, substance use and trauma-related disorders utilizing both conventional and Virtual Reality Exposure Therapy.
Currently, Professor Leon is writing a training manual for use of VR in behavioral health, education and medical healthcare.
